Adorable Beaver Cupcakes - Fun and Easy to Make

These Beaver Cupcakes are as cute as they are delicious! Made with rich chocolate cake, creamy frosting, and a playful candy face, they're a total win for themed parties, woodland baby showers, or just for fun with the kids.

Bonus: You don’t need to be a pro decorator to pull these off. These little guys are simple to assemble with store-bought treats!

✨ Ingredients

Makes 8 Cupcakes

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on box)
    or use your favorite homemade chocolate cupcake recipe

  • Chocolate buttercream frosting (store-bought or homemade)

✨ Decorating

  • Brown M&M’s or Sugar Babies (ears)

  • Brown mini-M&M’s (nose)

  • White Tic-Tacs (2 teeth per cupcake)

  • Nutter Butter cookies (halved, cream center removed, for tails)

  • Sugar candy eyes

✨ Instructions

  1. Bake cupcakes according to box directions or your favorite recipe. Let them cool completely.
  2. Fill a piping bag fitted with a Wilton 1M star tip and swirl a tall stack of chocolate buttercream on each cupcake.
  3. Insert half a Nutter Butter into the back of the frosting (pattern side in) for the tail.
  4. Add sugar eyes and brown M&M ears near the top.
  5. Use a mini-M&M for the nose.
  6. Place two Tic-Tacs under the nose for the beaver’s adorable little teeth.
  7. Serve and enjoy! These are always a hit at parties and school events.
