Pinocchio Day ~ February 7
“A lie keeps growing and growing until it's as plain as the nose on your face.” – The Blue Fairy
Did you know there’s a day to celebrate one of Disney’s earliest and most iconic animated films? Pinocchio Day is celebrated each year on February 7, the day Walt Disney’s Pinocchio premiered in theaters in 1940. As a Disney adult, I love using this day to revisit the artistry, heart, and magic behind a movie that taught us all what it means to be brave, honest, and true.

Winnie the Pooh Day ~ January 18
Celebrating the Silly Old Bear Who Lives in the Hundred Acre Wood
Every January 18th, we celebrate one of the most beloved characters in children’s literature and Disney history — Winnie the Pooh! This special day honors the birthday of author A.A. Milne, who introduced us to Pooh and all his friends way back in 1926. As a Disney adult and mom, this day brings up so many sweet memories of bedtime stories, cuddly stuffed animals, and cozy Disney movie nights.
