Pinocchio Day ~ February 7

“A lie keeps growing and growing until it's as plain as the nose on your face.” – The Blue Fairy

Did you know there’s a day to celebrate one of Disney’s earliest and most iconic animated films? Pinocchio Day is celebrated each year on February 7, the day Walt Disney’s Pinocchio premiered in theaters in 1940. As a Disney adult, I love using this day to revisit the artistry, heart, and magic behind a movie that taught us all what it means to be brave, honest, and true.

Disney Quote of the Day: “It All Starts With a Wish” – Jiminy Cricket

Discover the magic behind Jiminy Cricket’s famous quote, “It all starts with a wish,” and why it’s the perfect reminder for every Disney dreamer.

Disney Quote of the Day: “It All Starts With a Wish” – Jiminy Cricket

There’s something so comforting and hopeful about this quote from Pinocchio’s own conscience, Jiminy Cricket:

“The most fantastic, magical things can happen, and it all starts with a wish.”
Jiminy Cricket

I think this one speaks straight to the dreamer in all of us. It reminds me of the very heart of Disney magic—how everything begins with just one small wish.
